Most relocation quotes are a number with nothing behind it. This one comes itemised, with the timeline beside it, so you can see which dates are already tight before you commit to anything.
Written, and itemisedYou get the quote in writing with the parts listed separately, so you can see what is ours and what is the airline’s.

No deposit to get oneQuoting costs you nothing and commits you to nothing. Nobody asks for a card before you have seen a number.
The quote form
Three short steps. Gaps are expected — most people have not booked their own flight yet, and that changes nothing about our being able to quote.
01The animal
02The journey
Do not worry about the crate — we measure your animal standing up and work the IATA size out from that. How the crate size is decided →
Worth reading before you compare quotes, because two numbers for the same animal to the same country can be honest and still be far apart. Usually it is one of these six.
Where it is goingThe single biggest factor, and it is not about distance. The UK, India, the Philippines, Australia and Canada each have their own permits, waiting periods and blood tests. Australia is a different order of complexity from almost anywhere else.
The airline and the routeDirect against transit, and which carriers will take your animal at all. Some will not fly snub-nosed breeds. Some refuse cargo on certain routes in summer. The cheapest ticket for you is often not the one your pet can be on.
The size of the crateFreight is charged on the space the crate takes, not on what your pet weighs. The IATA size is set by measuring the animal standing up — which is why we measure rather than guess from the breed.
The month you travelSummer here brings heat embargoes, and some routes close to animals entirely between roughly June and September. The same journey in February and in July are not the same job.
How the pet travelsIn the cabin, as excess baggage on your own flight, or as unaccompanied cargo. These are three different prices and three different experiences, and not all three are available on every route.
The paperwork clockRabies titre tests, import permits and vaccinations have waiting periods measured in weeks or months. Starting late is what makes a relocation expensive — rush fees, re-bookings and, at worst, a cancelled flight.

What happens after you press send
01You send the formEverything you know. Gaps are fine — most people do not have the flight booked yet, and that is normal.02We read it and call youUsually with two or three questions the form cannot ask, because the answer depends on what you said.03The written quote arrivesItemised, with the timeline alongside it so you can see which dates are already tight.04You decide, or you do notIf it is not for you, the timeline we sent is still yours to keep. Several people have used it to do the whole thing themselves.
Four things we will talk you out of
Every one of these makes us less money. They are here because a quote you can trust is worth more to both of us than a line item you did not need.
We will talk you out of sedationAlmost every airline refuses a sedated animal, and at altitude a sedative affects breathing and temperature control in ways that are hard to predict. It is the one request we get most often and the one we say no to most often.
A bigger crate is not a kinder crateIt costs more and it gives the animal further to be thrown about in turbulence. The right size is the IATA size, measured off your pet. A crate that is too small, meanwhile, is refused at check-in and that is a missed flight.
If your cat can fly in the cabin, do thatWhere the destination and the airline allow it and the animal is under the weight limit, in the cabin with you is better for the cat and cheaper than anything we would otherwise arrange. It is also much less work for us, and we will still tell you.
Not every move needs a flightIf you are going to Oman or Saudi by road, or moving between emirates, say so. Sometimes the honest answer is that you need a pet taxi and an afternoon, not a relocation. Pet taxi →
Before you ask
Is the quote the final price?
The parts that are ours are fixed. Airline freight rates are not — they move with fuel, season and space, and no honest agent will pretend otherwise. What we do is tell you which lines can move and by roughly how much, so nothing on the invoice is a surprise.
How early should I start?
Earlier than feels necessary. For most European destinations, think in months rather than weeks; for Australia, longer again. The first thing we do with any quote is work the dates backwards from the flight, and that is the part people wish they had seen sooner.
Here for the price of something else?
This form is built for relocation, because that is the one thing with enough moving parts to need quoting in writing. For a consultation, a groom or an operation we would rather not put a number on a web page without seeing the animal — the honest version is a phone call, and in most cases a straight answer in under a minute.
