Castration. Short procedure, fast recovery, minimal aftercare.
Quoted in writing after the pre-op exam. Large breeds assessed separately.
Includes pain relief, take-home medication and the post-op check.
Mass and lump removal, wound repair, abscess management, caesarean.

Done under the same anaesthetic — one less stressful trip.
It is the single procedure with the biggest effect on how long and how comfortably a pet lives — and in the UAE it also keeps the street cat population from growing.
Spaying eliminates the risk of pyometra, a uterine infection that turns into an emergency, and lowers the risk of mammary tumours. Neutering removes the risk of testicular disease.
Less spraying, calling and territorial marking. Less wandering — which in Ajman and Dubai traffic is a safety issue, not just an inconvenience.
One unspayed pair and their offspring produce a great many kittens in a few years. We work with rescuers on community cats at a reduced rate.
People use the words interchangeably. They are different procedures on different animals.
Removal of the ovaries and usually the uterus. Ends seasons and calling, prevents pregnancy and pyometra. An abdominal procedure, so recovery runs a little longer — around ten days of restricted activity.
Removal of the testicles. Reduces roaming, marking and fighting. A shorter procedure with a faster recovery — most males are themselves again within a few days.
Nothing about the day should be a surprise. This is the whole sequence, start to finish.
Full physical check and, for older pets, bloodwork to confirm they are fit for anaesthesia.
You see the full cost before we begin. If anything changes, we stop and call you first.
Sterile theatre, monitored anaesthesia, and a nurse whose only job is watching your pet's vitals.
Warmed recovery kennel, pain relief on board, and a call to you as soon as they are awake.
Written aftercare, medication, and a free post-op check. You pay at the end, not before.
Almost every owner's real question is whether their pet will wake up. Modern veterinary anaesthesia is very safe, and this is what we do to keep it that way.
No deposit, no upfront payment. You settle once the procedure is done and your pet is going home — which is unusual in the UAE pet market, and deliberate.
It depends on species, weight and age, so we quote in writing after the pre-op exam rather than guessing over the phone. Call us with your pet's breed, age and rough weight and we will give you a close estimate the same day.
Commonly from around six months, but it varies with breed and size — large-breed dogs often benefit from waiting. We will give you a recommendation for your specific pet at the consultation.
We do not run a free programme, but there is no upfront payment and we offer reduced rates for registered rescuers and community-cat work. Ask us when you book.
Males are usually back to normal within a few days. Females need around ten days of restricted activity while the abdominal incision heals. You get written aftercare either way.
Routine spays and neuters are day procedures — in and home the same day. We will tell you in advance if your pet's case is an exception.
Yes, and most owners do. It is done under the same anaesthetic, so your pet feels nothing and you avoid a second visit. Microchipping is required in the UAE.
Tell us the species, age and rough weight. We will give you an estimate, a date, and everything you need to prepare.
